Privacy Policy – DMS AI ICD Assistant

1) What this extension does The extension helps clinicians while using DMS by suggesting ICD codes based on the diagnosis/symptom text the user enters on DMS pages. It runs only on specified DMS domains and operates only on explicit user action.

2) Data the extension processes

• Health information: diagnosis/symptom text and ICD suggestions.
• Website content: text from DMS form fields required to generate suggestions. The extension does not collect browsing history on unrelated websites.

3) How data is used Data is used solely to provide the ICD suggestion feature. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or analytics tracking.

4) Data sharing and transfers The extension does not sell user data. If configured to use an internal AI service, only the minimum necessary text is sent to that service to generate ICD suggestions, and results are returned to the user.

5) Data retention By default, data is processed transiently. Local settings may be stored in the browser (e.g., feature toggles and UI preferences). No long-term storage of diagnosis text is performed unless explicitly configured by the organization.

6) Security Data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to internal services where applicable. Access is restricted to the declared DMS/API domains.
